R. Bradley Runyan, Esq.

Bradley has over twenty-six years of experience in real estate law beginning as an abstractor, title examiner and closer for Minnesota Title while attending law school. Currently a Principal and the Managing Attorney of Stewart Title Group, he previously developed his practice as a Settlement Attorney and Manager with Sentinel Title, Heritage Title, First American Title and as a Senior Associate with Conroy, Ballman & Dameron, Chrtd.

Prior to that, Bradley handled underwriting and claims nationally in Los Angeles for Safeco Title and throughout the mid-Atlantic region before becoming Assistant Regional Counsel for (Safeco) Chicago Title in the Baltimore, MD and Fairfax, VA areas. Bradley began his career with a sole practitioner in real estate, title insurance and general matters in Minnesota.

Bradley is admitted to practice law in the District of Columbia, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia and Minnesota. His memberships include the American, District of Columbia, Maryland, Minnesota, Virginia, West Virginia, Montgomery County and Anne Arundel County Bar Associations. He sits on the Board of Directors for The Bank of Georgetown and The National Architectural Trust. He is also active with the District of Columbia Land Title Association and Maryland Land Title Association.

Bradley received his J.D. from the William Mitchell College of Law and B.A. with honors from Macalester College, both in St. Paul.

Patrick J. Tangney

Patrick J. Tangney has been involved in real estate for over 6 years as both an investor and now currently a Settlement Attorney for Stewart Title Group. Patrick reviews title reports, clears title encumbrances, issues title insurance policies, conducts settlements, and participates in the post-closing aspects of the settlement process.

Before switching to real estate law, Patrick worked in the Intellectual Property Law area as a law clerk at Duane Morris LLP for 2 years and as a Patent Examiner at the United States Patent and Trademark office for 1 year.

Prior to entering Law School at The Columbus School of Law/Catholic University, Patrick was a Naval Helicopter Pilot and Pentagon Briefer. Patrick flew the Sikorsky SH-60B for 4 years in Jacksonville, Florida with the Swampfoxes of HSL-44. At HSL-44, he earned the title of Helicopter Aircraft Commander, Squadron Safety Officer, and Functional Test Pilot. While at the Pentagon, Patrick briefed the Chief of Naval Operations, The Secretary of the Navy, The Secretary of Defense, and several other foreign and domestic military officers and officials.

Patrick attended the United States Naval Academy and graduated with Merit in 1993 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He entered the Naval Academy directly from Hillsboro High School in Hillsboro Wisconsin where he was both class Valedictorian and the Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Associations Scholar-Athlete for class C schools in 1989.

Patrick is barred in Wisconsin and the District of Columbia (pending).
